Here at Seraphine, our maternity clothes are certainly no strangers to being in the spotlight. In fact there’s hardly an on-screen bump that we haven’t dressed! From Devious Maids to Jane the Virgin, here’s a roundup of some of our favourite Seraphine looks from mamas-to-be on TV…

Devious Maids

In Season 3, episode 12 devious maid Zoila Diaz, played by the gorgeous Judy Reyes, looked stunning in our Embroidered Cut Out Maternity Dress while meeting her new boss for the first time. The stylish navy blue dress suited her colouring perfectly and the drawstring tie belt worked to define her curves.

True Blood

Back in 2014, the lovely Anna Paquin took to the screen as her True Blood character Sookie Stackhouse, wearing our famous Blossom Knot Front Maternity Dress in the season finale.

The Blacklist

And of course the gorgeous Alyson Hannigan wore two of our maternity dresses as her How I Met Your Mother character Lily Eriksen. She rocked our Fuchsia Pink Knot Front Maternity Dress as well as our Navy Lace Maternity Cocktail Dress.

Actresses Eva Amurri Martino & Teresa Palmer Are Stunning in Seraphine

What do stunning actresses Eva Amurri Martino & Teresa Palmer have in common? It’s a Seraphine maternity dress of course!

Both stunning mamas have been spotted recently rocking our Sea Breeze Polka Dot Knot Front Maternity Dress (among others), and we can’t get enough of their pictures…

Eva Amurri Martino

Gorgeous Eva is the stylish blogger behind successful lifestyle blog Happily Eva After, and she simply glowed in the dress as she stepped out for a weekend stroll. She is mama to two year old daughter Harlowe and is expecting baby number 2 (a little boy!) this autumn.

And this isn’t the only Seraphine style she loves! Back in July she teamed our Red & White Striped Cotton Maternity & Nursing Top with a chic white skirt and shades while on vacation in Maine. We love her look – the horizontal stripes work perfectly with her bump & the white skirt keeps the outfit fresh.

Teresa Palmer

Australian actress and star of 2016 film The Choice, Teresa Palmer look equally fantastic in our little knot front maternity dress to introduce the latest Q&A on her mindfulness blog Your Zen Life. Teresa is mama to two year old son Bodhi Rain, step-mama to 8 year old Isaac Love and is expecting a new addition to the family this autumn.

Natalie Pinkham’s Pregnancy Style Secret… Seraphine Maternity Clothes!

Gorgeous Sky Sports presenter Natalie Pinkham became a stunning second time mama last week, welcoming a beautiful baby girl named Willow Mirela – a little sister for 17 month old son Wilf.

Natalie has been a fan of Seraphine maternity clothes throughout both of her pregnancies, and this month, she looked stunning in one of our luxe maternity evening gowns to attend a glamorous charity gala. The event, held at London’s infamous Abbey Road studio and boasting a VIP guest list including Princess Eugenie, Mike Tindall and brother and sister Sam and Holly Branson, raised over £600,000 for Hope and Homes – a charity dedicated to ending the institutionalisation of children around the world.

Natalie Pinkham with Princess Eugenie

The gala was held just weeks before her due date, and Nathalie simply glowed in our Black Lace Detail Wrap Maternity Gown.

Last year we caught up with Natalie just after she welcomed her son Wilf, and she let us in on her top tips for styling a bump…

1) Describe your style in 3 words

A bit tomboy.

2) Was it easy to adapt your style for pregnancy?

Not always, but having Seraphine maternity clothes in my wardrobe certainly helped!

3) How did you manage styling your bump on live TV?

I felt proud to be pregnant, so quite enjoyed having a bump on telly! One of my favourite TV outfits was the Seraphine Striped Maternity Tunic – it was so comfy & looked great on screen.

4) What’s the best bit of pregnancy advice your received and who was it from?

My mum – the journey is an incredible one, enjoy every minute – even the tough bits, because you will never be pregnant for the first time again!

5) We are confiscating your makeup bag – you’re allowed to keep three essential cosmetics. What do you choose?

Don’t do it! Please?! Ok… I choose bronzer, mascara and gloss. Done. Happy.

6) What’s your favourite Seraphine piece & why?

I love so many pieces from Seraphine, but probably my most useful was the black maternity swimming costume that i took away on holiday.

Wilf ❤️   A photo posted by Natalie Pinkham (@natalie_pinkham) on

7) Any tips to share with breastfeeding mums?

Try and keep your baby on your boob until it is completely empty, as the best milk is at the back – the hind milk… It’s full of nutrients, antibodies and all round goodness. : ) Don’t beat yourself up if you can’t breast feed. It’s luck of the draw and doesn’t make you less of a mum, or in any way a failure if you can’t do it.

8) Tell us your idea of happiness?

My idea of happiness has been redefined since becoming a mum. He is the centre of my world; I feel very lucky to have him – so every minute with Wilf is pure happiness!

The Cointreau Awards: Super Models, Signature Cocktails & Seraphine

The venue: Liberty of London. The guest list: VIP. The signature drink: Cointreau fizz – what else!

Always keen to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs, Seraphine founder Cecile Reinaud joined a glamorous crowd this week at the Cointreau Awards for creativity and innovation.

Cecile spent time chatting with British super model and winner of the ‘true icon award’ Lily Cole, who loved Seraphine maternity clothes while she was expecting her daughter Wylde, and revealed to Cecile that she now can’t get enough of our nursing clothes.

The judging panel offered a seriously stylish line-up. Breath-taking French super model Laeticia Casta, who has been the face of innumerable fashion houses – Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Jean-Paul Gaultier to name but a few, took her seat on the panel. While the inspirational Guila-Clara Kessous, a French human rights artist and UNESCO artist for peace, looked stunning in our Emerald Silk Maternity Evening Dress.

Much like Seraphine, The Cointreau Awards fused French chic and British innovation, taking the best bits from both sides of the channel and wrapping them up in one glamorous package. The awards celebrate entrepreneurial individuals who dream big and dare to create, and everything about the fabulous event reflected these ideals.

Karolina Kurkova Supports Your Right to Breastfeed in Public

Super model Karolina Kurkova took to Instagram this week to stand up for your right to a safe, clean and private place to breastfeed your baby!

She posted a sweet selfie, drawing attention in the comment to the work of US Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth. Tammy has been campaigning to pass a bill that would require US airports to provide a designated space for breastfeeding and pumping mothers.

Karolina said:

“As I sit here pumping, I’m thinking of how I’m so proud of US Congresswoman- Tammy Duckworth’s efforts w/ US airports.🙌🏼 She wants to require them to have spaces available for breastfeeding/pumping mothers!! 👏🏼 We need a place where we feel safe and comfortable #breastfeeding in public.”

As an international super model, Karolina frequently travels abroad for work and often brings her two sons, six year old Tobin and baby Noah. She has also been an outspoken advocate of the benefits of breastfeeding, even posting her own breastfeeding selfie to encourage and celebrate other mothers who make the choice to breastfeed.

As a frequent flyer and mother of a new baby, this issue is clearly very close to her heart.

Karolina was a big fan of Seraphine maternity clothes while expecting Noah. She was spotted looking ultra-cool in a pair of our Seamless Maternity Leggings at New York Fashion Week. And she loved our Cropped White Maternity Jeans so much that she wore them to Cindy Crawford’s book launch and even posted a selfie wearing them in bed!

Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth, proposer of the bill in question, highlights the fact that nursing mothers are all too often pointed in the direction of the bathroom when looking for a private place to feed. She believes that this is unacceptable, saying:

“We would never ask our fellow travelers to eat their meals in bathroom stalls, yet we ask new mothers to feed their children while sitting on a toilet seat.”

We’re with Tammy and Karolina on this one – no mother should be made to feel that she has to breastfeed her baby in a public bathroom.

Life in the limelight isn’t always easy… Pursued by paparazzi and photographed at every opportunity, celebrity mums need to know how to look on point. Here they reveal some of the top beauty tips that help them put their best face forward every day of the week.

Gwen Stefani beauty tips

Gwen, mum to three boys Kingston (9), Zuma (7) and Apollo (2) is rarely seen without her signature red lip. She reveals that the secret to her colour’s staying power is layering! For those days when you only have 5 minutes to do your face, a splash of bright lipstick is a great way to lift your look and boost your mood.

For mum of two Jessica Alba, beauty comes from within. Drinking plenty of water through the day flushes toxins out of your body, which helps to clear your skin and maintain your natural glow well beyond pregnancy. Jessica’s daughters Honor & Haven are 8 and 5 now, and she is looking as radiant as ever, so she must be doing something right!

Stunning actress Kate Hudson is mum to two boys, Ryder (12) and Bingham (5) and believes the secret lies in the perfect eyebrows. Many of us can identify with the quest for beautiful brows – and whether you pluck, wax, thread, brush or fill your way to perfection, there’s no denying the impact it can have on your look. A good quality eyebrow kit is a great beauty investment.

Stunning singer Sophie Ellis Bextor, who recently collaborated with us on our Just For Love charity t-shirt campaign, is mum to 4 boys; Sonny (12), Kit (7), Ray (4) & Jesse (5 months). And despite being surrounded by boys, she is a huge proponent of having fun and experimenting with makeup. Trying out a new makeup look can be the perfect beauty pick me up – just what you need if you’re stuck in a rut.

5. All Natural

“Whatever you put on your skin gets absorbed in your body. So for my skin care, I try to use everything that’s natural.” – Karolina Kurkova

For super model Karolina Kurkova, mum to 6 year old Tobin and 5 month old Noah, natural products are essential. She explains that she spends so much of her time wearing makeup for her job, that on her down time she likes to use only natural, chemical-free products. This is a great guideline for pregnancy, when your skin may be more sensitive than usual.

A great pair of eyelash curlers is the key for Super Model & former Victoria’s Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes. With an international modelling career and two young children to keep her busy, the ability to create instantly wide awake eyes must really come in handy! If you’ve had one of those nights, taking a minute to curl your lashes before you put on your mascara will really open up your eyes.

7. Cream Eyeliner

“My thing is eyeliner, where I make a wing with a cream liner and a brush instead of using liquid eyeliner, which I find kind of bleeds everywhere. This way it’s done, easy.” – Coco Rocha

Super model Coco Rocha, mum to one year old Ioni, has another tip for opening up tired eyes. Coco creates her signature winged cat eye look using cream eye liner rather than liquid. Applying cream eyeliner with a brush gives you plenty of control, and is a great middle ground between the bold lines of liquid eyeliner and soft smudgy kohl pencil.

8. Solid Skin Care

“Funnily enough it was my father who taught me from a young age to look after my skin. I never go to bed with my make-up on and have monthly triple oxygen facials.” – Katherine Jenkins

Classical singer and new mum Katherine Jenkins offers two great pieces of skin care advice. First; it’s a simple rule, which makes perfect sense – always remove makeup before bed. And second, if you can manage it, a monthly facial is a great way to ensure a radiant complexion. If you can’t make it to the spa, why not treat yourself to a relaxing face mask at home. Katherine welcomed her first daughter, Aaliyah in the summer and her glow is looking as lovely as ever.

Meet the Maternity Dress Every Princess Wants to Wear

What do The Duchess of Cambridge, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Princess Sofia of Sweden all have in common? … Aside from being Princesses of course … the answer is the Seraphine Pleated Maternity Dress!

Princess Sofia of Sweden is the latest royal to fall for our elegant pleated dress, joining her sister-in-law Crown Princess Victoria, and The Duchess of Cambridge. We are thrilled that our navy dress has such a glamorous royal fan club, and it is wonderful to see how each Princess has styled the dress to suit her own personal look.

Princess Sofia

Princess Sofia, who is renowned for her fashionable looks, teamed the navy maternity dress with our Ivory Cropped Peplum Jacket for a meeting with UN ambassadors. She defined her empire waist with a smart self-tie belt and the overall contrast of navy and white brought a fresh touch to the trendy combo.

This isn’t the only Seraphine style that Sofia loves, she also wore our Striped Stretch Cotton Maternity Shirt to meet with business leaders earlier this month.

Crown Princess Victoria

Crown Princess Victoria let the dress do all the talking, adding just a clutch, a stylish pair of navy court shoes and some statement earrings as she welcomed Nobel Peace Prize winners to the royal palace in Stockholm.

Victoria, who welcomed her second child Prince Oscar earlier this month was a fan of Seraphine maternity wear throughout her pregnancy, commissioning several bespoke outfits for special occasions and choosing a selection of our Luxe Maternity Dresses for official royal engagements. She particularly loved our Bubble Print Maternity Dress, which she wore several times throughout her 9 months.

The Duchess of Cambridge

The Duchess of Cambridge kept the dress under wraps when she wore it for a royal engagement last winter while expecting Princess Charlotte. She displayed her signature style and grace, pairing it with a long dress coat and heels. Of course the Duchess has a well known preference for Seraphine maternity clothes; she looked stunning in our Fuchsia Knot Front Maternity Dress in the first official pictures with Prince George, and favoured our maternity coats while expecting Princess Charlotte.

It is always wonderful when royals favour Seraphine maternity clothes, but to have three Princesses all choose the same dress is a huge honour.

Seraphine on Screen: Paris . New York . Miami . LA

Every mum-to-be wants to look her best through pregnancy, but with the added pressure of being in the public eye, these on-screen mamas have been putting their fashion faith in Seraphine maternity clothes!

From Paris to New York, Miami & L.A., we’re taking a look at some of the TV star mums who’ve styled their bumps in Seraphine.

Starting the tour through TV-land in Seraphine’s spiritual fashion home – Paris; Stunning French TV presenter Vicky Bogaert has been looking stunning in Seraphine maternity dresses throughout her pregnancy. We loved her in our Double Zip Maternity Dress – an ultra chic choice, which she styled beautifully with soft blonde waves and a bold red lip.

In New York, Good Morning America lifestyle anchor Sara Haines rocked our Circle Print Maternity Dress live on The View, and posted this fierce fashion shot with co-host Raven Symone.

We love the way she toughened up the fitted maternity dress with a cute biker jacket and heels. And her chic monochrome style makes a great contrast to Raven’s signature eclectic look.

Anne Hathaway & Other Celebs Love Seraphine Maternity Coats

Hollywood A-lister Anne Hathaway seems to be sticking to her style and taking pregnancy in her stride. She looked simply radiant this weekend in one of our wool and cashmere maternity coats!

The star wrapped up her blossoming bump in our chic Two Tone Wool & Cashmere Maternity Coat, and couldn’t stop smiling as she stepped out for a casual New York lunch date with husband Adam Schulman. She styled the look with skinny jeans, black patent loafers, aviator sunglasses and a cool cross-body bag.

Of course Anne isn’t the only A-lister to love Seraphine maternity coats: Latina diva Shakira and top tennis WAG Kim Murray have both worn our Black Wool & Cashmere Maternity Coat and super model Coco Rocha wore our Black Maternity Down Jacket to bring baby Ioni home from the hospital. The Duchess of Cambridge is another high profile Seraphine fan, and wore several of our maternity coats while expecting Princess Charlotte. She looked stunning in the Marina Maternity Coat on her arrival in New York for her first official royal visit to the States, and chose the powder blue Natasha Cashmere Blend Coat to attend to royal duties at home in London.

Since announcing her pregnancy earlier this autumn, Anne has never looked happier, and is proving quite a Seraphine fan! She wore our Faux-Leather Panel Leggings just last week – another celebrity favourite, worn by the likes of Gwen Stefani, Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, The Saturdays’ Una Foden and heir to the Virgin fortune, Holly Branson.

We are loving Anne’s chic, laid back look and can’t wait to see what she wears next.
