If your little one is a little too little for trick or treating, why not bring Halloween to your home and throw a baby Halloween party! Liska from the Adventure in a Box blog has some fantastic ideas.

Or why not visit a local pumpkin patch & pick your own pumpkins! It’s a fun family day out, and is the perfect opportunity to pick up a few prime specimens for carving and for cooking!

Baby’s First Halloween: Frights & Fun for all the Family

It’s that time of year again mamas – The evenings are getting darker, there’s an eerie chill in the air, and there’s something strange in your neighbourhood – time to call Ghostbusters – Halloween is here! If you’re after some fun things to do with the little ones over this spooky holiday, we’re here to help! We’ve gathered the best ideas and inspiration from around the web to help you and your little monsters have fun and frights this Halloween!

 To decorate

With little ones around it may be an idea to save the really creepy, gruesome décor for when they’re a little older. But there’s still plenty of fun to be had! You and the kids could try your hand at decorating ‘no-carve pumpkins’ from Misi UK. Or take them out for a nature walk to collect leaves, then make these gorgeous autumn leaves lanterns that we found on RedTedArt.

To do

If your monster is just a bit too little for trick or treating, why not bring Halloween to your home and throw a baby Halloween party! Liska from the Adventure in a Box blog has some great ideas for fun activities. And we can’t get enough of this DIY gooey Halloween slime for sensory play (this would be a big hit with the older kids too!)

To eat

Sweet treats at Halloween are pretty much a given, so we love these fun, healthy Halloween snacks from Samantha at the Crafty Texas Girls blog. And if you are looking for something sweet to snack on – check out Katie’s Monster Marshmallow Pops on her blog Made to Be a Momma.

To dress your baby

Your baby monsters may be too young for trick or treating, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun dressing them up & answering the door! Baby Harry Potter, 80’s aerobics instructor, the monopoly man, a taco?!?! Just a few of our favourites from Brit.co’s selection of baby costume ideas!

And for your toddler monsters, we love this idea from viral YouTube sensation Glowy Zoey!

To dress your bump

And if you’re heading out to a Halloween party of your own, we found some great DIY costume ideas for dressing your bump on Brit.co.
