Cancelled catwalks, masked models, digital shows & socially distanced front rows…. Fashion Week has looked a little different this year.
But if there’s one person we can count on to bring the spectacle, it’s super model, Seraphine fan & expectant mama Coco Rocha… and she did not disappoint!
7 months pregnant with baby number 3, Coco had the finale look at Christian Siriano’s fantastically escapist NYFW show.
Coco’s stunning red gown worked perfectly with her bump & the huge high-low ruffle skirt & train added major drama. The striking monochrome look in scarlet red was finished off with matching heels, hat & of course, face mask!
Safety was a top priority at the show – it was held out in the open in the back yard of Christian’s Connecticut home, all audience members were socially distanced & our favourite part – all the models were wearing masks to match their gowns.
We absolutely love this trend! We made our own re-usable cotton face masks to match with one of our signature new season dresses, so you can work the fashion week look for yourself!

Fashion Week Behind the Scenes (Part 2)
To finish off the landmark 2020 show, Coco made a splash (if you’ll excuse the pun!) by strutting straight into Christian’s pool! While we don’t usually condone ruining designer dresses, the moment certainly brought a touch of the drama & whimsy that we love about fashion week!
Coco has long been a fan of Seraphine maternity clothes, having worn our styles through both of her previous pregnancies, while expecting her daughter Ioni (5) and son Iver (2). She was a particular fan of our little black maternity dresses.
Our shift dress is made in the softest stretch jersey, making it incredibly comfortable – perfect for relaxing at home.
Coco styled it simply with slicked back hair & killer heels for her nursery reveal while expecting Ioni.
Cool & Grungy
Biker boots, a leather jacket & beanie toughened up the look for a moody outdoor shoot near her home.
Coco perfectly demonstrates the versatility of this classic LBD, which is included in our BUMP KIT. 4 essential styles (the LBD plus a vest, leggings & skirt) designed to help you kickstart your pregnancy style.
All in classic black & white, they’re perfect for mixing & matching with pieces from your regular wardrobe.
Stilettos, black tights & a jacket of her own design bring the perfect polish to this look. We love it for a date night or smart work event.
Simply Sexy
And this shot has to be our favourite – just look at that gorgeous bump! This time she kept things simple, just adding chunky boots & the perfect mood lighting!
The Duchess of Cambridge’s pregnancy was without a doubt one of our highlights of 2018. She looked stylish as ever throughout and chose several Seraphine maternity dresses for official royal occasions while expecting Prince Louis.
She looked elegant in our Marlene Maternity Cocktail Dress to meet with the Norwegian King & Queen, and chose our Tailored Maternity Dress for the inaugural Royal Foundation Forum – her first official engagement with Meghan Markle, now the Duchess of Sussex.
This year also saw Pippa Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister welcoming her little boy Arthur.
Pippa was also a fan of Seraphine, wearing several of our summer dresses through the heatwave, moving onto our maternity jumpers once the weather cooled down.
Holly Branson is expecting her third baby early next year and has consistently chosen Seraphine for special occasions.
From the Global Gift Gala to the royal wedding of Princess Eugenie to Jack Brooksbank, this month she even chose a Seraphine maternity blouse to interview former First Lady Michelle Obama!
US Singer Carrie Underwood is expecting baby number two next year and has remained a firm fan of Seraphine, wearing our designs for various performances & TV appearances.
The Seraphine leggings she’s wearing here are a real celebrity favourite, also loved by Gwen Stefani, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard & more!

British singer & mum of two Katherine Jenkins welcomed her son in April this year, but not before stunning audiences in one of our LUXE maternity gowns for a live performance.
British broadcaster, writer & musician Clemency Burton-Hill relied on Seraphine maternity clothes for special occasions & presenting jobs throughout her pregnancy & even after welcoming her son.
Author Giovanna Fletcher welcomed her third baby this year – son Max.
She has been a long-time fan of Seraphine, and this year wore one of our wedding dresses to a friend’s anniversary party – before you ask… the theme was wedding dresses!
Here at Seraphine, we are always finding maternity fashion inspiration from our favourite pregnant celebs. From Hollywood A-listers like Jessica Alba & Anne Hathaway to royalty including The Duchess of Cambridge, all the hottest celebs love Seraphine maternity clothes. But this week, we’re looking past the maternity fashion & concentrating on their fabulous hairstyles!
Stunning actress Anne Hathaway rocked a chic shoulder length style while she was expecting. Big, bouncy & full of volume, we can’t get enough of her glamorous blow-dry.
Super model Coco Rocha is another mama who rocks a shorter hair style, but this slicked back look is a classic style that works for any length. To achieve this hair style, Coco parts her hair at the side and slicks it back into a low ponytail, using a touch of hair oil or serum to catch the flyaways. This sleek look is perfect for pairing with our classic little black maternity dress.
Jessica Alba, currently expecting baby number three is well known for her relaxed boho style. We love her loose beachy waves, which are incredibly versatile. Dress them down for the daytime, or rock them after dark with an ultra-glamorous maternity dress.
For a glamorous occasion, who better to emulate than The Duchess of Cambridge. She rocked her signature Chelsea blow dry with our fuchsia knotted maternity dress in the first official pictures with Prince George, and then again while expecting Princess Charlotte. She looked particularly stunning on arriving in New York, dressed in Seraphine & blow-dried to perfection for her first official visit to the United States.
Watch the video with Kate’s hairstylist Richard Ward & learn how to re-create this glamorous look at home.
Made in Chelsea star Binky Felstead is another fan of the Chelsea blow dry, but on more casual days, she is often seen sporting the messy bun. The messy bun is the ultimate shortcut style for mamas with long hair – it’s perfect for second-day styling or for relaxed weekends hanging out with your little ones.
Pro tip: To achieve the perfect messy bun, you have to start with a mess!

Huge congratulations are in order for Coco Rocha this week, who has welcomed her beautiful baby daughter Ioni James Conran into the world!
The stunning super model debuted her new daughter on Instagram, rocking our Black Maternity Down Jacket as she shared a kiss with her artist husband James Conran in this sweet family portrait.
And this isn’t the first time Coco’s styled it out in Seraphine maternity clothes! She has provided the perfect pregnancy fashion inspiration, rocking some seriously stylish Seraphine looks over the past nine months. Here are a few of our favourites…..
This one taken near her home in New York State was one of the first ‘style the bump’ shots she took – She looks incredibly chic teaming our Black Maternity Shift Dress with a cool hat, biker boots, & a leather jacket.
Who needs a table?! Coco posted this fun shot during New York fashion week, looking gorgeous in our Silk Chiffon Polka Dot Maternity Dress, & using the bump as a handy place to balance her water.
Our black maternity shift dress was one of Coco’s favourite styles through pregnancy – here she recycles the style, this time pairing it with a jacket of her own design from her new Modern Princess Collection. Our essential little black dress is a real style winner & is loved by all the most fashionable celebrity mamas including Gwen Stefani & super model Doutzen Kroes!
This magical winter shot in our Graphic Maternity Dress has to be one of our favourite looks, It came just a few weeks before she was due to give birth, and we simply can’t get over how beautiful she is!
With a little help from some stylish Seraphine maternity clothes, Coco remained true to her signature style throughout her pregnancy, and has taken every opportunity to celebrate her amazing changing body.
And it looks like Baby Ioni, formerly known as #babyconran may be following in her photogenic mama’s footsteps – she is already making waves on Instagram with her own account @ioniconran, gaining over 20K followers in just 3 days!
Wishing mama & baby all the best for the exciting journey ahead!
This week the stunning super model Coco Rocha shared a beautiful snap in one of our most popular maternity dresses. The star (who has shared shots in our Black Maternity Shift Dress before) posted the picture on Twitter & Instagram. This time she rocked a natural look in our Graphic Maternity Dress; styling it with minimal makeup and sleek simple hair, against a magical snowy backdrop. We can’t get enough of this ethereal springtime shot!
And Coco isn’t the only one to love this maternity dress – country songstress Carrie Underwood recently wore it on the Rachael Ray Show, and Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins was pictured wearing it in Hello! Magazine this month to debut her beautiful baby daughter Ella Rose – proving that the dress is perfect for post maternity too!
The Graphic Dress is a firm favourite with celebs, TV stars, fashion bloggers and real mamas alike! We always love to see how you style our maternity clothes, and love these images from fashion bloggers Lee Anne from Life in ATX, Jess from K and J Diaries, and Shrinkabump.
Seraphine LUXE maternity dresses can always be seen at the most glamorous events in fashion & film, and with the Academy Awards and the incredible style of Fashion Month hanging in the air, right now is the perfect time to spot expectant celebrities wearing Seraphine LUXE! This past week alone we were delighted to see not one but two glamorous mamas-to-be looking stunning in Seraphine LUXE: Avant-garde theatre director & the new Mrs Benedict Cumberbatch, Sophie Hunter, as well as international super model Coco Rocha!
She’s the one who broke our hearts this Valentine’s Day by taking the dashing Mr Cumberbatch off the market for good in a quietly tasteful ceremony on the Isle of Wight. And as much as we’d like to hold a grudge, we simply can’t help but love Sophie Hunter and her fantastic maternity style.
The newlyweds are honeymooning in LA this week, where they attended the Oscars, and were spotted strolling together, Benedict with a protective arm around his new wife, and Sophie looking effortlessly glamorous in our Silk Printed Maternity Maxi Dress and a stylish pair of shades.
A hugely successful theatre & opera director in her own right, Sophie is a career girl, a true creative and – much as we hate to admit it – a perfect match for our Sherlock. The couple are expecting their first baby later this year and we wish them the all the best for the next few months.
Also spotted in Seraphine LUXE this week was the gorgeous Canadian super model Coco Rocha, who shared a stunning shot in Seraphine with her 894,000 Instagram followers this week. The picture shows a fully made up Coco in our Silk Chiffon Polka Dot Maternity Dress, balancing a bottle of Fiji water on her blossoming bump!
And this isn’t the first time the stylish Coco has instagramed a selfie in Seraphine – just last month she posted a stunning shot in our Black Maternity Shift Dress.
The model and her artist husband James Conran are expecting their first baby – a little girl – later this spring and the couple couldn’t be more excited – Coco told Refinery 29“This season, everyone’s asking what I thought of the clothes, but I’ve hardly noticed them. All I’ve been noticing are the baby outfits that North West is wearing!” With not long to go till baby Conran arrives, we think it’s safe to say that Coco has got fashionable pregnancy dressing down to a fine art!
