The final scores are in & Henman Hill is quiet once again as we bid a fond farewell to Wimbledon for another year. We saw some truly fantastic tennis on the courts this year & some stunning maternity fashion in the stands too! This week on the blog we’re taking a look at Kim Sears & Anne Keothavong’s style in Seraphine.

Of course Kim is a long-time Seraphine fan – she wore plenty of our maternity clothes while expecting her first daughter, Sophia. She cheered Andy on to victory at the 2015 Davis Cup final looking ultra-chic in our Ivory Maternity Blouse.

Film Stars, Pop Stars & Super Models – Celebs Love a Maternity Maxi Dress

Stylish maternity maxi dresses are guaranteed to flatter your figure at every stage of pregnancy, and will quickly become your go-to for a quick fashion fix. The maxi is a fail-safe option for those days when your aim is to achieve maximum impact for minimal effort.

Take some inspiration from the stars – Here are a few of our favourite celebrity maternity maxi looks…

Megan Hilty

The Beautiful Broadway star looked simply gorgeous in one of our LUXE maternity maxi dresses to work the red carpet at the premier of Melissa McCarthy’s comedy Tammy. The flowing silk style worked perfectly for the glamorous star studded event.

Pregnant celebrities wear maternity maxi dresses Megan Hilty, Christina Aguilera, Alyson Hannigan

Christina Aguilera

Christina donned our Grey Space Dye Maternity Maxi Dress for a pre-baby shopping spree in Beverly Hills. Styling it cool and casual with a cropped black cardi and a chic fedora, she masters the relaxed daytime look. If your day is going to involve a lot of walking, opt for a maxi style with side splits to keep you cool and allow plenty of room to move.

Alyson Hannigan

The ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star styled one of our floral maternity maxi dresses with a denim jacket, sandals and a fiery red scarf to run some errands between filming in LA. We love Alysson’s look – teaming a maxi with a touch of denim is a sure fire way to achieve that classic boho chic.

Holly Willoughby

Glamorous ‘This Morning’ presenter Holly rocked our White Lace Trim Maternity Maxi Dress  to run some errands around London with her two eldest, 5 year old Harry and 3 year old Belle. The light and breezy style was the perfect choice for a cool and casual look that’s ultra easy to wear.

Pregnant celebrities wear Seraphine maternity maxi dresses - Jessica Alba, Doutzen Kroes and Dania Ramirez

Doutzen Kroes

Super model & Seraphine fan Doutzen wore several of our stylish maternity maxi dresses last summer, while she was expecting her beautiful little daughter Myllena Mae.

Jessica Alba

Hollywood A-lister Jessica Alba paired another of our floral maternity maxi dresses with a cute cream cardigan and gladiator sandals for a chic bohemian look to run some errands around LA.

We love how every woman accessorises her maxi dress to suit her style, and browsing through these fabulous celebrity looks, it’s clear to see that there really is a maternity maxi dress for every occasion!

Gorgeous Jaime King Rocks our Denim Maternity Dress

Hollywood stunner Jaime King was spotted rocking one of our cutest denim maternity dresses this week!

The pregnant star, who was first featured in Vogue at the tender age of 15, looked ultra-cool dressed down in our Dungaree Denim Maternity Dress for a sunny stroll with husband Kyle Newman. We can’t get enough of her outfit – Jaime perfected the art of retro 90’s chic; styling the denim dress with a sexy backless top, cute black brogues, a white bag & a pair of statement shades to complete the look.

Jaime wore her hair loose with minimal makeup for a natural look, which was fresh & super stylish: Impressive when you think that just the day before she was the guest of honour at the hottest baby shower in Hollywood! None other than Taylor Swift, Godmother to the baby-in-waiting, pulled out all the stops to organise a star studded shower to remember – who needs a fairy godmother when you have Taylor! The glamorous guest list included fellow fan of Seraphine maternity clothes Jessica Alba, as well as some of the most stylish stars including Gigi Hadid, Nina Dobrev, all three Haim sisters & Modern Family star Sarah Hyland to name just a few!

And Jaime isn’t the only celebrity to fall in love with our summer denim selection: Jessica Alba wore our Luxe Grey Maternity Skinny Jeans while expecting her 2nd daughter Haven, while Confessions of a Shopaholic star Isla Fisher & fashion icon Fearne Cotton both love our Ripped Skinny Maternity Jeans.

Keep up the good work Jaime – we are loving your style!

Katherine Jenkins Stuns in Seraphine at the Memorial Day Concert

Looking as beautiful as she sounded, Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins was a vision in a silk Seraphine maternity dress at the US National Memorial Day Concert last week.

The Welsh Mezzo captivated the audience at Washington DC and across the states with her flawless renditions of Elgar’s Nimrod and You’ll Never Walk Alone by Rogers & Hammerstein.

The dress she chose was our Navy Silk & Lace Maternity Evening Gown – a floor length silk chiffon maternity dress in midnight blue, featuring a feminine sweetheart shape with a black lace overlay, and a silk sash to emphasise the empire waist. It was the perfect choice for such a glamorous occasion, and she styled it classically with glowing makeup, drop diamond earrings and her blonde hair softly waved.

This isn’t the first Seraphine maternity dress to grace the stage of the National Memorial Day Concert… Last year, US songstress Megan Hilty was expecting her beautiful daughter Viola Philomena, and wore one of our stunning lace maternity dresses to perform a patriotic medley of WWII era songs.

Katherine and her artist husband Andrew Levitas are expecting their first baby (a little girl!) in the autumn, and so far she is looking radiant as ever, showing just the first hint of a baby bump.

Katherine has been a fan of our LUXE Seraphine maternity dresses, choosing several for high profile performances recently. She chose our Lace Detail Wrap Maternity Gown and our Blue Multiway Maternity Maxi Dress to perform at a series of concerts in London to commemorate VE Day last month.

It is also a huge pleasure to hear Katherine perform, and to see her looking so beautiful in Seraphine maternity dresses.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden Chooses a Bespoke Seraphine Ensemble

This week we were delighted that Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden chose Seraphine maternity clothes for a very special royal occasion…

Over the weekend the Princess, currently expecting her third baby, attended the prestigious Nobel Prize award ceremony in Stockholm, wearing a bespoke Seraphine maternity gown.

The spectacular one of a kind gown in mauve silk and hand-beaded gold lace was made to measure in London by our team of talented in-house tailors, and the Princess simply glowed in it.

Of course this isn’t the first time that Princess Madeleine has opted for a bespoke Seraphine outfit. Back when she was expecting Prince Nicolas she chose a pristine ivory Seraphine outfit   for the Lysning of her older brother Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist.

Seraphine bespoke for Princess Madeleine

The princess looked incredibly glamorous in a champagne lace maternity cocktail dress from our LUXE collection, which she styled with a bespoke ivory maternity coat also by Seraphine, finishing off the outfit with a pair of nude heels and a statement designer hat.

3 generations of Swedish royals were in attendance at the joyful family occasion, including Madeleine’s parents King Carl XVI Gustav & Queen Silvia, as well as her 1 year old daughter Leonore, who was dressed in an adorable matching ivory outfit with a fabulous pair of gold shoes.

Princess Madeleine wore Seraphine maternity clothes on several other occasions throughout her second pregnancy – she loved our LUXE outerwear collection. She chose our Blush Wool & Cashmere Maternity Coat for her father, the King’s official birthday celebrations at the Royal Palace in Stockholm, and opted for our Cropped Peplum Maternity Jacket to meet the Pope.

We’d like to wish Princess Madeleine all the best for the exciting time ahead.

Katherine Jenkins is Stunning in Seraphine at VE Day Celebrations

No one does pageantry like the Brits! This weekend saw parades, memorials, red arrows, flaming beacons, gun salutes and 1940’s themed musical extravaganzas as Britain celebrated VE Day 70 years on.

Stunning classical singer Katherine Jenkins, currently expecting her first baby, led the way with a full weekend schedule of VE Day celebration performances, looking the epitome of vintage-style glamour in not one, but two Seraphine LUXE maternity dresses!

Katherine Jenkins VE Day

Katherine wowed the audience at Horse Guards Parade on Saturday at the 1940’s themed musical extravaganza: VE Day 70: A Party to Remember. The star looked impossibly glamorous in our floor sweeping Lace Detail Wrap Maternity Gown as she joined tenor Alfie Boe to close the show with Vera Lynn’s wartime classic We’ll Meet Again. Her blonde hair set in smooth 40’s style waves; Katherine accessorized her gown with a bedazzled jewel encrusted microphone, glittering diamonds from Boodles & the perfect red lip.

Then on Sunday the Welsh beauty took to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall for Classic fm’s VE Day at 70 concert, looking stunning in our Blue Multiway Maternity Maxi Dress. Katherine held the audience spellbound by her beautiful rendition of Ivor Novello’s We’ll Gather Lilacs in the Spring, then stole the show with her reprisal of the crowd’s favourite We’ll Meet Again.

And it’s not just Seraphine LUXE that Katherine loves… The Welsh star, who married American artist & film maker Andrew Levitas last year, is a big fan of our main range maternity dresses too! She was recently spotted out and about in New York looking gorgeous in our Cut Out Nautical Maternity Dress.

Katherine did Britain proud this weekend – she performed perfectly, sang beautifully and embodied the flawless glamour of the era.

It’s a girl! Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!

London landmarks were lit up in red, white & blue AND PINK this week as the nation celebrated the arrival of a new Princess; Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge!

Just as before, the Duchess of Cambridge has proven a fantastic style inspiration and here at Seraphine we are honoured to have been a part of her maternity wardrobe throughout her pregnancies.

Meet the Maternity Leggings Loved by the Stars!

What do Claudia Schiffer, January Jones, Doutzen Kroes, Kimberly Wyatt & Gwen Stefani all have in common? Well, aside from glamorous good looks… it’s Seraphine maternity clothes of course – in particular our maternity leggings! These stylish celebrity mamas all wore & loved our maternity leggings throughout their pregnancies, and it’s easy to see why…

January Jones & Doutzen Kroes

A great pair of maternity leggings is vital if you plan on staying active through your pregnancy. Mad Men actress January Jones practiced yoga while she was expecting her son Xander, and wore our Black Bamboo Active Maternity Leggings for her classes. And another yummy mummy, super model Doutzen Kroes looked picture perfect in our Grey Bamboo Active Maternity Leggings for her private Ballet Baby sessions with Ballet Beautiful’s Mary Helen Bowers. Made in ultra soft bamboo fabric, these super leggings allow your skin to breathe & help to regulate your temperature by wicking away moisture faster than cotton or synthetic fibres – they are a must-have for an active mama.

Claudia Schiffer

During her 3rd pregnancy in spring 2010, super model Claudia Schiffer often rocked her maternity leggings on the school run. She layered up our Seamless Maternity Leggings with an array of stylish maternity dresses, tunics and cardigans, absolutely nailing her bohemian chic maternity style. The seamless leggings are ultra soft, and work to shape & smooth your silhouette, providing the perfect all day support & coverage.

Kimberly Wyatt & Gwen Stefani

If you’re looking to add a touch of glamour to your look, you can’t go wrong with our Faux Leather Panel Maternity Leggings. Former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt couldn’t get enough of her pair when she was expecting her daughter Willow. She teamed them with one of our Bamboo Nursing Shawls and a pair of stilettos for a stylish London premier. Another fan of these ultra glamorous leather leggings is rock star, fashion designer and all round style icon Gwen Stefani. She wore them several times throughout her pregnancy, styling them with a statement checked blanket wrap, and later teaming them with our Cowl Neck Maternity Glitter Dress to pose for a sexy pregnancy selfie in her bathroom mirror! And Holly Branson, daughter of Virgin billionaire Richard Branson, carried on rocking hers 4 months after her twins were born!

Holly Branson Rocks Seraphine Style at the Fast Track 100 Party!

This week, Seraphine founder Cecile Reinaud attended Richard Branson’s Fast Track 100 party, and was honoured to meet Richard’s daughter Holly Branson, who just happened to be wearing her favourite pair of Seraphine maternity leggings!

Leggings

Cecile accepted the coveted Fast Track 100 award on behalf of Seraphine, and later chatted to Holly, who paired our Faux Leather Panel Maternity Leggings with a stylish loose knit black jumper & pumps. Holly welcomed her adorable twins Etta & Artie in December last year, but you’d never guess from looking at her – she’s snapped back to her regular figure, and is looking fabulous as ever. Holly loved Seraphine through her pregnancy & it’s great to see that the new mum is still rocking her maternity clothes after the birth – she confessed to Cecile:

“I loved wearing Seraphine. There are some pieces I just can’t give up – these leggings are my absolute favourite. They’re so comfortable!”

Fast Track 100 Seraphine

Holly was the first Branson to fall in love with Seraphine; through pregnancy she wore our Black Roll Neck Knitted Maternity Jumper, and our Lamb’s Wool & Cashmere Leatherette Nursing Jumper. She also loved our Striped Maternity & Nursing Top, and looked fantastic in our Black Knitted Maternity Cape, styling out a gigantic set of virtual reality headgear!

Holly Branson in Seraphine

Holly revealed to Cecile that Richard Branson is taking to his new role as granddad like a duck to water. The billionaire businessman behind the Virgin group was recently spotted taking the twins out for a stroll in their pram near his home in Notting Hill. And it’s just as well that he’s enjoying it, as not long after Etta & Artie arrived,  Holly’s brother Sam & his wife Isabella welcomed their own bundle of joy, a little girl called Eva-Deia – It’s been a busy year for the Bransons!

We are so pleased to see that Holly is still styling out her Seraphine maternity clothes; 4 months on and she is looking incredibly glamorous!

Seraphine Maternity Clothes for A Royal Audience with the Pope!

This week we were honoured that Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden chose Seraphine maternity clothes for her audience with the Pope.

Including three generations of Swedish royals, the visit was a real family affair: The Princess travelled to the Vatican along with her mother Queen Silvia of Sweden, her husband American businessman Chris O’Neill, and their adorable 14 month old daughter Leonore.

Princess Madeleine meets the Pope

Both Queen Silvia & Princess Madeleine wore traditional black, covering their heads with black lace veils to meet the Pope. Princess Madeleine opted for a classically glamorous look, styling her gorgeous lace dress with heels, pearls and our Cropped Peplum Maternity Jacket.

And this isn’t the first time Princess Madeleine has worn Seraphine maternity clothes – Madeleine, who is expecting her second baby in June, has been a fan of our lace maternity dresses throughout this pregnancy, and wore our Blush Wool & Cashmere Maternity Coat to the official celebrations for King Carl XVI Gustaf’s birthday at the royal palace in Stockholm.

As graceful & glamorous as her mother was, it was little Leonore who successfully charmed the head of the Catholic Church, dressed in a pretty cream dress with a fabulous pair of gold shoes – she clearly has her mother’s eye for style!

We would like to wish the Princess all the best for the exciting months to come!

Tatler & Vanity Fair: Fashion Editors Stun In Seraphine Maternity Dresses

This week we were delighted to dress editors from not one, but two of the most glamorous fashion and lifestyle magazines on the planet: Tatler & Vanity Fair!

Over the weekend Vanity Fair’s online editor Katherine Goldstein looking stunning rubbing shoulders with President Obama at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in one of our most glamorous Seraphine LUXE maternity dresses. Meanwhile, here in the UK Tatler editor Lisa Williams attended Tatler’s Best of British Party at the Ritz, dressed as the Duchess of Cambridge!

The annual White House Correspondent’s Dinner is a chance for the President to entertain some of the most glamorous and influential people in US politics & culture, with a guest list covering celebrities, journalists, editors, politicians and public figures. Vanity Fair’s Katherine Goldstein looked utterly gorgeous in our Navy Silk & Lace Maternity Evening Gown, styling the full length silk maternity dress with a pair of classic pearl earrings & heels – perfect for meeting the president.

The White House Correspondents Dinner

This particular maternity dress is becoming quite a fixture on the international red carpet circuit: In the past year alone it has been worn at the Cannes Film Festival in France, Katherine Parkinson wore it to pick up her BAFTA in London, and now it’s proved a fashion hit in Washington too.

The Tatler Best of British party was a brilliantly eccentric celebration of all things Brit, complete with an aristocrat-packed guest list, Marmalade tasting with the WI & more strawberries, cream & scones than you can shake a morris dancing stick at! Fancy dress inspiration ranged from black cabs to George & the dragon, but our money for the best cosume is on Tatler’s online editor Lisa Williams (currently expecting herself) who wore our Floral Silk Maternity Cocktail Dress in a cheeky homage to the Duchess of Cambridge!

Next time you have a glamorous event coming up, why not channel a touch of red carpet glitz with one of the beautiful maternity dresses & ball gowns in the Seraphine LUXE collection.

Olympic Champion Rebecca Adlington Rocks Seraphine Maternity Dresses

We were delighted to see Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington rocking one of our summer maternity dresses in the Sunday Mirror last week.

At almost 8 months pregnant, the 26 year old swimming star simply glowed in our Fuchsia Pink Knot Front Maternity Dress as she talked to the press about pregnancy and waiting to meet her baby. With 7 gold medals, 2 Olympic games’, an OBE & even a stint in the jungle on I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here under her belt; Rebecca is now gearing up for motherhood – her most exciting challenge yet!

Rebecca Adlington in Seraphine

Rebecca isn’t the only inspirational athlete to love Seraphine maternity clothes: Back in 2013 British equestrian star & granddaughter of The Queen, Zara Phillips wore one of our LUXE maternity dresses to the Boodles Boxing Ball. And last year Olympic Heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis-Hill looked gorgeous in our Black Knot Front Maternity Top for an interview on Sky Sports.

Athletes in Seraphine

Rebecca married her partner, fellow swimmer Harry Needs last year & the couple are now thrilled to be expecting their first baby – a little girl. Becky told The Mirror: “I love my relationship with my mum and wanted a girl so I could plait her hair, take her shopping and take her for afternoon tea when she’s older.”

We are loving your choice of maternity dresses Rebecca – wishing you all the best for the exciting weeks ahead!
