Here at Seraphine, we spend a lot of time focusing on mums – as a maternity fashion label, it’s kind of our job!

But we are sometimes guilty of forgetting the men behind the mums. Those hidden support networks who carry the bags, put up with the mood swings and bring us cups of tea when it hurts to move.

We were recently tweeted by a great guy, after gift ideas for his 8 months pregnant wife who was suffering from back pain.

And it turns out, he is writing a blog about his experience of being an expectant dad! You can check it out at Bloke to be Broke.

We love mummy bloggers, and often feature guest posts from our mummy blogger friends here on our own blog, but a daddy blogger is a whole new concept for us. We had a sneaky browse through Brett’s blog and it makes great reading – it’s really refreshing to get a dad’s point of view on the whole thing!

It turns out that there are doting dads tweeting, posting, writing, pinning and sharing about being a dad all over the web! They even have their own social network – Lifeofdad.com!

Infact, this online community of dads is getting together next week in the US at the Dad 2.0 Summit to discuss the growing power and voice of dads online! You can even follow the conversation on twitter @dad2summit!

Marylebone High Street was transformed last night into a magical winter wonderland, and we are so glad that we were there to see it! Seraphine joined in to celebrate the switching on of the Christmas lights, and the whole street got into the festive spirit. The atmosphere was amazing, and it was fabulous to get a little taste of Christmas – complete with market stalls, snow, a wonderful choir and real live reindeer!

At our new Marylebone store, our very own Seraphine Christmas elves joined in with the festive fun, spreading some joy to the children of London by giving out gifts from Galt Toys!

The lovely ladies of London turned out in force to investigate our new maternity boutique on Marylebone High Street when it opened a few weeks ago, and since then, they have been busy blogging!

Here at Seraphine we are so excited this week, as our fabulous creative director Cecile is currently touring around the TV studios in sunny LA, giving interviews, appearing on American TV, and generally sharing our gorgeous maternity styles with our friends across the pond!

It seems that the marvellous “moms-to-be” in the US can’t get enough of our chic European flair and our versatile maternity styles – and who can blame them!

We’ve been selling to the US for a while, and Seraphine’s maternity styles have long been a popular choice with Hollywood A-lister Moms-to-be.

Cecile will be showing off our gorgeous maternity styles on some big name programmes over the next few days – She has already filmed interviews for Entertainment Tonight and E! Entertainment all about Seraphine’s growing success, and will be appearing live on Access Hollywood at the end of the week with 4 fabulous “mommy-models” who will be strutting their stuff on the catwalk, showing off our chic maternity styles!

The Duchess of Cambridge is wearing Seraphine again! This morning, the first official photographs of the young royal family with new baby Prince George has been released, and Kate, cradling baby George in her arms, looks simply radiant in a signature Seraphine knotted front maternity dress! It is a beautiful smiling family shot in the sunshine, taken by proud Granddad Michael Middleton in the garden of the Middleton family home, complete with Lupo and Tilly the family dogs. The Duke and Duchess could not look happier, and it is clear that they have truly enjoyed this special time bonding with their new son.

Until this morning, the young royal family had not been seen in public since mid July, when they spirited their new born son away to Bucklebury, to spend his first few precious weeks in private with family. Regular readers of this blog may remember that the very last time Kate was seen, she was wearing our beautiful blossom maternity dress, and now she is back in Seraphine again for the official photo!
