Last week we were thrilled to see Holly Branson looking stunning in Seraphine to receive the Philanthropist Award at the Global Gift Gala.

Holly was joined at the event by actress Eva Longoria – the Global Gift Gala organizer – as well as Victoria Beckham and Holly’s long-time friend Princess Beatrice, who are all long-time supporters of the charity event, which helps children, women and families in need.

 

 

The Virgin Manager and Trustee has long been a fan of Seraphine maternity clothes, having favoured the brand throughout both of her pregnancies.

Here at Seraphine we have been busy raising money through October for two fantastic charities – Breast Cancer Care & Shelter.

October was breast cancer awareness month, so last Friday we all donned our pinkest outfits to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.

Everyone got involved, from head office to store staff, and together we raised over £400!

And on Monday, Seraphine Founder & CEO Cecile Reinaud braved the freezing temperatures to spend the night sleeping outside as part of the CEO Sleepout in London.

Cecile was one of the top 3 fundraisers in the group, raising over £4000 for Shelter!

Shelter is a fantastic charity providing advice, support & legal services to people struggling with homelessness or bad housing, as well as campaigning at the government level to tackle the causes and consequences of the housing crisis.

Placenta encapsulation is a pregnancy trend that has been steadily gaining in popularity in recent years. A-list celebrities are doing it, and many mums who have tried it simply rave about the benefits!

But with little to no scientific evidence behind the practice, many doctors remain sceptical. Here at Seraphine, we are by no means medical specialists, but we thought we’d do a bit of digging to see what we could find out.
