Pregnant Pippa Middleton’s Top Three Seraphine Maternity Dresses

Expecting her first baby later this year, mum-to-be Pippa Middleton has been styling her bump in some gorgeous Seraphine maternity dresses.

We think perhaps Pippa has been taking recommendations from her sister The Duchess of Cambridge, who relied on Seraphine for maternity fashion throughout all three of her pregnancies.

1. The Black Floral Maternity Dress

Back in July at the height of the summer heatwave, Pippa stepped out in our chic little floral number to walk the dogs near her Chelsea home.

Pippa styled the dress (currently on sale for just £39!) with sunnies & espadrilles, adding a pop of colour with a red cross-body bag – we love this look!

2. The Printed Maternity Shirt Dress

Earlier in the summer, she looked effortlessly stylish in our woven shirt dress – a brilliantly transitional piece which could be yours for £65.

Pippa styled it with shades, bare legs & pumps in the sun, but it looks just as chic worn with tights & boots when the weather starts to turn.

3. The Little White Maternity Dress

She was also spotted running some errands around London in our white cotton summer dress, which is available to buy for just £55. The cute little dress showed off her tan perfectly!

We love Pippa Middleton’s casual chic style and can’t wait to see more of her maternity outfits as we head into the cooler season.

Senator Tammy Duckworth Makes History Bringing her Baby to the Senate

Illinois Senator Tammy Duckworth made history recently when she became the first US senator to bring her newborn baby onto the Senate floor.

Beautiful baby Maile Pearl was just 10 days old when she made her big Senate debut, safely wrapped up with her mother in a Baby K’tan sling.

Keep your little one close, whether you’re making history or making memories at home.

Just the day before Maile’s historic trip, Senators had unanimously voted to overturn the baby-ban and allow infants onto the Senate floor. And before you ask, Maile was good as gold when the time came and slept through the whole thing!

Senator Duckworth had worked hard to change the rule, ensuring she’d be able to vote while caring for her newborn and hoping to set a positive example of family-friendly workplace policies to the nation.

Tammy Duckworth: Pushing Boundaries

As an Asian-American woman, an Iraq War Veteran, former Black Hawk helicopter pilot and double amputee working in politics, Tammy is no stranger to pushing boundaries and making history.

She was the first Asian-American woman elected to Congress in Illinois, the first disabled woman to be elected to the United States Congress and the first member of US Congress born in Thailand.

And after welcoming baby Maile in April she became the first sitting senator to give birth while in office.

Here at Seraphine, we think Tammy is amazing. Her efforts to make her own working environment a more family-friendly place will pave the way to empowering generations of women to balance high-powered careers with family life.

The theme of the first Royal Foundation Forum was ‘Making a Difference Together’, which perfectly sums up the mission of the organisation.

The Royal Foundation was set up by the two Princes back in 2009. It serves as the charitable vehicle through which the young royals support their various causes – from wildlife conservation to the armed forces, young people, mental health and more.

The Duchess of Cambridge joined them after her wedding in 2011, and Meghan will officially become a patron later this spring, after her marriage to Prince Harry.

This week, the Royals brought together all the organisations they work with through their foundation to set out their visions for the future.

The Duchess in particular, highlighted her on-going commitment to tackling mental health issues through every stage of life, starting in childhood.

This dress is a favourite of The Duchess. She also wore it back in January to launch the Heads Together initiative, Mentally Healthy Schools.
