This week, we are sending huge congratulations to singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who welcomed baby number five into the world!

Little Mickey Jones made his debut earlier this week – joining brothers Sonny (14), Kit (9), Ray (6) and Jesse (3) to round off Sophie’s beautiful brood of boys.

Sophie had a real style hit at the UKTV awards in one of our chic black maternity dresses.

 

 

Back in 2015, Sophie even helped us to raise money for Tommy’s the baby charity by modelling our charity Love T-shirt.

We donated all the profits from sales of the tee to help Tommy’s set up the UK’s first medical research centre dedicated to preventing early miscarriage.

 

Here at Seraphine, we’re wishing Sophie & her husband, Richard, all the best as they begin this new adventure as parents of five!

What do Tamsin Egerton and The Duchess of Cambridge have in common? It’s a little black Seraphine maternity dress of course!

 

British beauty Tamsin Egerton was spotted this week rocking our best-selling little black dress, at the Baccarat / Hotels 1 Dinner. Overlooking the Thames at luxury London venue One Horse Guards, Tamsin rubbed shoulders with the great and the good, looking ultra-chic in our Black Roll Neck Vanessa Dress. She styled the dress simply with long flowing hair, a chic shoulder bag and a pair of classic black heels.

Also loved by the Duchess of Cambridge, this little black maternity dress is a seriously stylish option. The Duchess teamed it with a stunning Cartier necklace to attend a glamorous evening event in New York while she was expecting Princess Charlotte last year.

This isn’t the first time that Tamsin has styled it out in Seraphine maternity clothes.  Last week, she attended a private viewing at the London Frieze Festival wearing a pair of our maternity jeans! Accompanied by Josh Hartnett, her drop dead gorgeous Hollywood beau, Tamsin looked super stylish pairing our Premium Under Bump Maternity Skinny Jeans with an over-sized coat and a blue Louis Vuitton shoulder bag.

 

 

 

The couple recently moved into their new London home, and are thrilled to be expecting their first baby in the New Year.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is Stunning in Seraphine Luxe

This week we have been delighted to see Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden enjoying her new Seraphine wardrobe!

 

Last week the Princess chose our Polka Dot Silk Maternity Dress to attended a meeting of the International Paralympic Committee at the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg. Victoria’s elegant silk dress was the perfect choice for the sumptuous surroundings, and she looked ultra-stylish as she discussed next year’s Paralympic Games with other European Royals including Princess Margriet of the Netherlands, Prince Albert of Monaco and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg.

 

 

This week the Crown Princess kicked off her official visit to South America, and we were delighted to see her wearing another bespoke Seraphine maternity dress on her arrival in Lima! Victoria looked stunning in the smart red style to greet crowds and to meet the Peruvian President Ollanta Humala.

 

 

This Wednesday she wore another Seraphine Luxe maternity dress out to dinner in Colombia with her husband Prince Daniel. This beautiful corn flower blue style in silk and lace comes from our SS16 collection, and will be available for purchase in the new year. In the mean time though, the navy version – the Silk and Lace Special Occasion Dress – is available now in our LUXE collection.

Of course this all comes after Princess Victoria’s stunning appearance at her nephew Prince Nicolas’ christening in a bespoke Seraphine maternity dress. The Seraphine purple set off her radiant pregnancy glow perfectly, and the smart empire peplum flattered her figure. 

 

 

The Princess loved the style so much that she wore it again, along with the matching bespoke Seraphine coat on Thursday evening to meet with the Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos Calderon.

Stunning British actress, model and socialite Tamsin Egerton was spotted rocking a pair of Seraphine maternity jeans this week, out on a date with her baby daddy Josh Hartnett!

 

The outrageously attractive couple were part of a select group to enjoy a private viewing before the grand opening of the Frieze Art Fair in London, and Tamsin rocked it in a pair of our Premium Under Bump Maternity Jeans. Surrounded by some of the world’s most cutting edge contemporary art, Tamsin and Josh mingled with the movers and the shakers of the art world including royal and fellow art lover Princess Eugenie.

The stars were out in full force at Cindy Crawford’s Miami book launch this week, and stunning super model Karolina Kurkova looked ultra-chic in a pair of bright white Seraphine maternity jeans.

Celebrating the launch of her friend’s new memoir Becoming, Karolina cut a stunning figure in our cropped white maternity jeans. She put together a chic monochrome look with a matching white top, a contemporary statement blazer and a pair of cool blue and white brogues, accessorising with a pair of gorgeous drop earrings.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has done it again! A firm fan of Seraphine, this week Sophie posted some stunning pics to Instagram, having fun at Madame Tussauds rocking one of our stylish maternity dresses.

Sophie chose our Circle Print Maternity Dress to film her brand new documentary, getting up close and personal with the waxworks at Madame Tussauds! The UKTV documentary about celebrities and social media looks to be a lot of fun – she posted a selfie with YouTube sensation Zoella, laughed with President Obama and even tweaked Madonna’s infamous Vogue bra!

 

 

And earlier in the week she was spotted wearing the same dress, posing with a Baymax balloon at a Big Hero 6 themed birthday party. It is definitely her under there (we promise!) and, novelty balloon aside, the dress & Black Knitted Maternity Cape combo looked ultra-chic!

Here at Seraphine we pride ourselves on making maternity clothes that are loved by some of the most glamorous mamas on the planet. From Hollywood A-listers to British royalty, we’ve dressed women from all over the world, and this week we were thrilled to see two stylish Asian celebrities working it in Seraphine!

 

 

Chinese Mandopop singer He Jie posted these gorgeous pictures to her Chinese Twitter account, looking super cute in our Geo Print Maternity Wrap Dress. She balanced the chic monochrome style with a pop of colour, pairing it with a statement red hand bag and posing in front of a colourful vertical garden.

 

 

Meanwhile over in Japan, national news reader Takako Zenba has been styling it out in Seraphine maternity dresses live on TV. Like He Jie, Takako is a fan of the Geo Print Dress, and also looked super stylish in the Bubble Print Maternity Dress. Last Monday, Murder on the Dance Floor singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor attended the star-studded UKTV live launch at the Phillips Gallery looking stunning in one of our little black maternity dresses. She styled our Zip Detail Maternity Dress with glamorous red nails and a statement silver watch, finishing the look with a pair of classic black flats. The stylish mother of three, married to The Feeling bassist Richard Jones, is expecting her newest arrival latest this year; with immaculate makeup and a feminine half-up, half-down hairstyle, she ruled the red carpet!

It’s great to see the new mum out and about and looking so fantastic just weeks after the birth. Stunning singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor rocked the red carpet this week in one of our stylish Seraphine maternity dresses!

The ‘Murder on the Dance Floor’ singer attended a glamorous London theatre premier in our Black & White Polka Dot Maternity Dress. Sophie put together a classic retro look; teaming the stylish dotty dress with a pair of black heels, a funky leopard print clutch and bright red nails. Tennis Champ Anne Keothavong Talks Pregnancy Style & Fitness

Anne Keothavong is a former British tennis champion, and is currently expecting her first baby with husband Andrew. She has spent the last couple of weeks avidly following the action at Wimbledon from the commentators box, and we have been delighted to see her styling it out in Seraphine maternity dresses live on screen!

 

1. Can you describe your style in 3 words?

Feminine, classic, comfortable.

 

2. Where do you find fashion inspiration?

From other women and fashion magazines.

3. How are you adapting your style for pregnancy?

I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to find anything stylish to accommodate my growing bump but then I discovered Seraphine maternity clothes and I’ve found I can still look good and feel comfortable at the same time.

 

4. We’ve loved seeing your style on the live Wimbledon coverage. How are you managing to style your bump for live TV?

Fortunately, I haven’t found it too difficult. The Seraphine maternity dresses have been great – the more simple I can keep my look, the better as I need to focus on all the action and keep waffling away!

5. What’s the best bit of pregnancy advice you have received and who was it from?

My mother told me that a lot of people will give you advice whether you ask for it or not, but do what is best for you.

 

6. We are confiscating your makeup bag – you’re allowed to keep three essential cosmetics. What do you choose?

Lip gloss, powder and eye liner.

8. What was your favourite moment of pregnancy?

The first scan. It was the first time my husband and I had ever set foot in a hospital together and it was for a very special moment.

9. You are looking great! Do you have any tips for keeping fit & healthy through pregnancy?

Thank you. Do what you feel you can do and make sure you enjoy it, everyone is different. I’m still playing as much tennis as I can and I still enjoy working out in the gym – I just don’t move as fast or go for everything as much!

 

10. Tell us your idea of happiness?

It’s all about spending time with my family…. and eating lots of chocolate!
